Exilis Ultra

BTL EXILIS ULTRA™ is a series of treatments used for skin tightening, fat reduction in more precise smaller pockets of fat and for cellulite reduction.

Looking for larger areas of fat reduction as well as skin tightening? You may be a candidate for Vanquish Ultra.

What is Exilis Ultra?

Exilis Ultra from BTL is the first noninvasive treatment to deliver ultrasound AND radio frequency at the same time.  This combination of energies can provide tightening all over the body and is the first we can offer for the buttocks - no more dimples! This exciting new procedure is also effective for tightening the hands, and submental area (under the chin).

Is everyone a candidate for Exilis Ultra?

The BTL Exilis Ultra ™ treatment is safe for patients of all ages and skin types who are showing signs of aging or want to improve those problem areas where exercise and diet just aren't sufficient. During a complimentary consult, our Body Sculpting Specialists can help determine if Exilis Ultra is an ideal treatment for the area and issues you want to address.

How many treatments will I need?

The recommended number of body treatments is between 4 to 6 sessions. Treatments are usually scheduled 3-4 weeks apart. During your consult a body specialist will help you determine the number and frequency of treatments to meet your specific goals.

When will I see results?

Results vary. Patients have reported visible improvements after the first or second treatment session, but it is common to see improvements up to 6 months later. For best results, it is recommended to follow the in-between treatment instructions, maintain a healthy diet and drink plenty of water.  As with any cosmetic procedure, results vary and we cannot provide exact estimates on how long it will take for you to see results or predict how your individual body will react.

What happens during an Exilis Ultra treatment?

One of our nurses will delivery RF energy to the treatment area at a succession of pulses at 1 million cycles per second. While this may sound intense, it is very safe. To maximize comfort, your nurse will continuously monitor your body’s temperature using the Exilis Ultra device, with ongoing accurate feedback of the skin’s temperature. This thermal monitoring allows your provider the utmost in temperature control and helps to keep you comfortable. After the Exilis portion of the treatment, your specialist will perform 2-3 minutes of Z-Wave Pro to further enhance your results. Z-Wave Pro feels like a mild pulsing sensation and is included at no extra charge.

Is Exilis Ultra painful?

Most patients find Exilis Ultra to be tolerable although hot. Some liken it to a hot stone massage. The heat can be an uncomfortable sensation for others. However, being sure to come to your appointment especially hydrated (64-80 oz of water daily for 2-3 days prior to treatment) can considerably lessen any discomfort.

How do I prepare for an Exilis Ultra treatment?

No specific preparation for Exilis Ultra is absolutely necessary although being sure to hydrate with at least 64 (ideally 100 oz) of water the day before, the day of and the day after your visit not only makes you more comfortable during treatment but also increases the efficacy of the treatment. Before each treatment your provider will measure your body's hydration levels with a special scale.

DAY OF: Absolutely no oil or lotion should be applied to the treatment. If you have a navel piercing and are treating your abdomen, please remove the jewelry before your appointment.

It's also important to remember than nothing beats diet and exercise. Good dietary habits, sufficient water intake and light physical activity are beneficial and optimize all of our body sculpting treatments.

How will I feel following an Exilis Ultra treatment?

There is no downtime with Exilis Ultra. It can be scheduled as a lunchtime procedure. Patients will notice redness and warmth in the treated area which will subside after a few hours. This warmth is equivalent to the sensation felt after a deep tissue massage and will not prevent anyone from their regular activities.

How much does Exilis Ultra cost?

Exilis Ultra treatments range from $300 - $500 per treatment depending on the size of the area we’re treating.
